Sunday Sermon On Free Will

This Sunday's sermon will be on the topic of free will. God gave humans the gift of free will in their sphere of influence. What does this mean? Basically, we have freedom of choice. God has prepared a Creation menu, and we get to make our selections. Humans get to choose between right and wrong. We can decide to do the right thing or something else. We get the choice of whether we will follow God's plan for our lives or choose another way to live. Finally, humanity can choose Salvation and life without end or...

When God placed humanity in his garden, they had the choice to listen to him or be punished. The story goes they disobeyed and were sent out of the garden of Eden into the world. We can get the aid of a pastor or priest or go it on our own and try to understand a book of books that warns us God will lay stumbling blocks and snares...

We have free will. Whether you believe it is a gift from God or not. We make choices every day. We make small choices all the time. Choices like what to eat for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We make large choices. How much education to get and what to do for a living? Whether to get married and raise a family or not? Our lives are the result of the sum of the choices we make. Will you choose belief in God, Salvation, and life without end, or something else...
