Godless, Giftless, Lifeless Matter, Or...

What is real? Godless, giftless, lifeless matter composed universe? A living God visualized creation that is composed of intelligent, living matter formed out of His mind? One or the other is the choice presented in the science class and religious instruction. Where do we stand in determining which explanation is correct?

Godless as in there is no need for god in the explanation of natural phenomena. Giftless, as in there are no spiritual abilities. Lifeless matter, as in organic matter, is alive, while the particle zoo and chemical jungle are lifeless. Such was the gist of my public school education. No god required. No master mathematician is getting all the force equations just right for life to emerge in the chemical soup. No divine architect is laying out the solar system so that Earth can teem with life. It is all coincidental accidents. No artist creates the beautiful displayed life on the planet we call home. Just random mutations.

The opposite is what I learned reading scriptures. God created the Heavens and the Earth. God filled the Earth with life. God created mankind in his image. In religious life, there is a God. He bears gifts of the spirit for his creation. Everything exists in his mind, composed of his mindstuff, very alive and intelligent. There are no accidental mutations or coincidental just-right conditions. It is all part of the master plan. Nature shows God's vast creative genius. The force equations show God's intelligent genius. The beauty of life shows God's artistic brilliance.

Where do we stand? At one time, the flat earth and the geocentric universe were the accepted views. Now it is widely accepted that the world is round and that we exist in a solar system revolving around its star. There is some scientific speculation that the whole thing is a simulation, given the advanced science's computational capacities. Yet pi is still being solved. Infinity is at the door awaiting discovery that it is a living sentient being, not just an advanced computer system. As the Bible said thousands of years ago, we live and have our being inside God. Such is still a very logical explanation.

If You Have Faith

If you have survived the godless, giftless education and information media presentations and have faith, then miracles are possible, prophesy is real, and you live your life safely in Creation. Outer space is the vast mind of God. Jesus is on a mission to save you from guilt, shame, and condemnation.

Public schools teach the contemporary scientific view that outer space was forged after a cosmic explosion, the Big Bang, and Life is the product of celestial and terrestrial accidental progress to the forms we see today. No God is required. No spiritual gifts. Just physical matter and energy and the fruits thereof. Yet, if you have faith, you can still experience miracles of healing, mass feeding on a few resources, and who knows how much more. Prophets still speak God's words and tell what is yet to happen. If you have faith, you live in Creation instead of in a field of accidents ordered only by physics rules and matter laws. You live in the Kingdom of a living God.

If you have faith, outer space displays a portion of God's vast mind, as exhibited in his Creation of the Universe. You live inside God's mind. There is nowhere outside of God. God is the infinite alive! He is everywhere. God, with his infinite mind's eye, can visualize universes, planets, and life into existence. Natural laws reflect the great intelligent creativity of God. Nature experienced as Creation shows the work of God. God is with you on your walk through mortal life as a comforter and Heavenly Father. God does not want anyone to perish.

Jesus came to take us home to Creation. He worked miracles and was resurrected to show us the wonders of Creation, establishing that although we are mortal, we can live forever in God's afterlife. We just need to accept his salvation. He does not condemn us. He loves us as family and created us to live forever with him in Heaven. He is the Good Shepherd who is looking to gather his sheep. He is the Heavenly Father who came to save us from guilt, shame, condemnation, and even death.

If you want to believe, read the Holy Scriptures and learn about God, Creation, Salvation, and God's many promises. We are the heirs of a rich scriptural legacy written by inspired men for generations. There is no need to suffer a godless life on your own in a giftless reality. Read the Good Book. Live in God. Grow in faith and receive faith's many blessings.
