Sunday Sermon Halloween Day

Consciousness. That we exist all day while awake. Is it a hopeless dependent on the brain for its existence? Does it form a collective consciousness with the the rest of the brains on Earth that we have labeled god and the spirit? Can consciousness be transferred from its birthday host brain to another host medium? Is transference of conscious to another realm what is meant by the afterlife spiritual reality eternal life dimension bodies existence mentioned in religions around the world?

So, is consciousness a hopeless prisoner with brain and its body until death and then does it too die with the rest of the body? Or is our birthday and our brains birthday gifts from a loving god that promises a life after death? Is our lifetime in its entirety a mere caterpillars state of spirit life waiting to turn to a butterfly upon death? Are all mortals caterpillars of eternal life butterflies?

Did our brains once numerous enough and exposed to enough sunlight ripen into a collective consciousness that existed in addition to our individual consciousnesses? Do we have a collective consciousness bandwidth belt around the world in addition to our atmosphere invisible to the naked eye? Does the conscious exist like the mirror reflected natural bandwidth "tune-able" in with the right receivers and frame of mind? Is the collective consciousness a prisoner of the "brain-clouds" that caused it to be until the brains are all dead and it too dies? Or does it like Zues' Athena come forth a living world soul spawned by our brains natural bandwidth linked collective consciousness? Is it possible for us to achieve collective consciousness as a spiritual frame of mind? Is the collective consciousness the ripened fruit of brains coexisting together in a plane?

Are our brains and their collective consciousness all existing in a far larger plane that too was formed of collective consciousnesses and intelligence but from everywhere existing? Is the plane infinite that the larger collective conscious intelligence exists inside experiencing all reality inside of itself? Do we mere humans and every lifeform existing have potentials derived of the vast collective consciousness link? Can lifeforms experience this collective consciousness and is that experience what is meant by the Godhead state of mind? Is this collective consciousness what is God?

How can we with limited senses and experience ever hope to determine if collective consciousness of the world and the collective consciousness of all life (Godhead) exist? Can any mortal caterpillar ever know about becoming a butterfly and achieving Godhead or is that beyond a caterpillars ability to know without first experiencing it?  Can we even figure out if an infinite outer space formed plane exists as a mind we share with all reality? Can we ever figure out if anything exists seperate from our brains construct sensational dreamlike vision plane? Are we the forge of the Universe by our collective adoption of the allusion made in our heads in our mind's eye of an external reality we share? Do we exists with both a brain and an infinite mind?

A lot to think about this All Hallows Eve Day...

Sunday Sermon 10/24/2021

What does one need to know to begin a life of faithful living? What does one need to think about embarking on a life in God? How much thought needs to be devoted  to prepare for a good life? Can the basics be easily presented so anyone can begin? I will try to share what I would have wanted to know forty years ago when I started my journey in Godhead...

Forty years ago I was only twenty years old and starting a life I had no idea what to do with. I knew bills had to be paid, food had to be bought, and even dating cost money. I knew a job was a quick fix to get some cash. I did not know anything about financial planning or picking a job that paid the bills for the lifestyle I wanted...

I had no idea I could look at rents, the cost of food, and everything I needed for how I wanted to live and add it all up to find out how much I needed to make so I could live the life I wanted. I did not know I could see if I needed to get work skills so I could earn enough for my lifestyle. I did not imagine I could have to take a no skill job to pay for a school to learn how to earn enough for how I wanted to live. The first thing one needs to know living a life guided by the gift of knowledge is how much money do you need? Do you need to learn to earn?

Of course choosing to live a life of faith requires religion. What religion? I find any religion that reverences the Creator of the heavens and Earth will do to center one in a faithful relationship with God Creator. To worship is a choice from recognition how great God is that made the Universe, the Earth and everything therein. God is almighty and I am in awe of his Godhead ability to visualize the universe composed of a microcosm of particle building blocks.

There is also the question in any life of where should one live? I find from the gift of knowledge that God strikes a balance between anarchy and tyranny to grant justice means I should choose a reidence in the free world as free as I can afford. Whether that is living in the jungle under the sky hunting, fishing and gathering my meals or working in a metropolis in a factory helping assemble the things people enjoy buying, I should choose based on how free I am comfortable to live. We are not all on the same path. Some of us may prefer farm living while others want to be creative artists. One must choose what one feels one gifts are suited for and choose a residence appropriate.

The "free world" takes on many shapes and sizes. It may be a country granting liberty to all known harmless acts or it may be a nation granting enough liberties that you will be comfortable living in it. It may even be a tyranny you know you cannot leave but can live a free life inside the "cage" provided within your means. When one uses ones gift to meditate and visualize one will find one is very free wherever one is bodily in ones abilities to travel in ones mind...

Finally I would have liked to know about living a spiritual life. A life based on existing in an infinite mind as vast as all outer space composed of dimensions of infinitesimal compressed space. A life where far more greats the mind eye than the eyes viewing finite scenes within an outer space realm. A life lived inside of a god that is everywhere...

These are the basics of what on reflection I would like to have been able to share with myself twenty years ago. I am not a time traveler yet so I could not reach me. Maybe this information will help you and in a way help me that I am as you the life being lived by the cosmic mind I identify with, that is living a life as you.

Sunday Sermon October 17, 2021

This Sunday, I remembered. After Mass, we stopped at a friend's for a couple of beers, a hero sandwich, and watched football. I did get home before the evening game, and before tuning in the game or cooking dinner, I took time to write this Sunday reflection or sermon. It is about the end of time...

The Bible says the universe will grow old like a garment, and the stars will go out. Cosmologists agree the Universe will age with galaxies colliding and stars burning out. It seems to me the Bible predicts there will be billions of years into the future with the growing old like a garment prophecy. What will happen on Earth as billions of years go by?

The Earth's star will go red giant, and the planet will be consumed by the giant fireball our sun turns into. That is the scientific report. Fire will consume the planet. The Earth will perish in flames. Sounds Biblical? We have time to react to this prediction. With knowledge comes power. We have plenty of time, but a lot of that time may be needed to research space engines to discover a fast way to colonize the near stars and beyond our galaxy...

Science fiction portrays space travel possibilities beyond our current science level of potential to duplicate. Faster than light ships, warp factor speeds, stargates... Science fiction has in the past predicted submarines and rocketships before these were possible for humanity to produce. Who knows what future discoveries will put within humanity's reach!

While we do our research and learn our options, we should start an "ark project" or begin a mission to preserve the genomes of all known life on our planet, so we can steward them to the stars with us on our fantastic voyages in God's Creation outer space area. The Earth provided a suitable nest for life for millions of years. Still, we will have to vacate the planet in a few billion years, or all our accomplishments and hopes and dreams will burn along with us and our planetary neighbors, nature's children.

Of course, colonizing the near stars and traveling the galaxies, we will need new behemoth ships. Ships that are equipt to carry citizen/soldier colonists and all they will need on a journey that may take lifetimes. Ships that can serve as a colony traveling through space. Ships that can serve as our first home when we arrive at the near stars...

Colonizing the moon and Mars are great first steps in the adventure. Especially because these acts provide an opportunity to test our life support systems and develop comfort living "off the world."  This provides areas to build space drydocks where the colony ships can be assembled in orbit without the gravity holding back the potentials in size.

Of course, we need to give ourselves a pat on the back. We have left the nest. We have learned to travel in space. Now we need to learn how to live there and get about out there as fast as possible to develop within our capacity. Space is huge but a nonrenewable resource, so we need to follow the resources where our abilities make it possible. Like our ancestral roaming hunter-gatherers, it is our best interest to explore space and find all we can of the things we need for life... Who knows, maybe we will find other intelligent beings God created?

Reflections

I am not perfect. Again Sunday came and went and I forgot to post. This week I will post a reflection on the difference between the invisible god and humanity. For one, God is invisible and we live inside of him. Secondly, God is everywhere at once in his great superconsciousness. God can count the sand on the shore his attention is so great. I can hardly count to one thousand without boredom creeping in...

Sunday morning God did not forget to make the sunrise. I forgot it was time to post. Third, humans are forgetful while God never forgets. God as the mind behind natural phenomena is coliding particles, forming planets and causing stars to go supernova while making a sunshower.

Sunday evening God made the sunset one more time. I still did not remember it was time to post my Sunday Sermon. I drank a few beers, watched football, then the news and went to bed. I did not remember to post.

I woke up late this morning. God had already made the sunrise. I drank two cups of coffee before I realized I had forgotten to post a sermon on Sunday. God is the closest to perfect I know of. He is consistent and reliable. His word is good a thousand generations later. A thousand generations from now who will even know I forgot to post yesterday?

I am mortal, forgetful, not much help if you need a few bucks, and like my liquor a little too much my gut seems to say. Some say God is everything there is. God is the rising and setting sun, the stars in the sky, the clouds and rain, well everything. Even the caterpillars that grow to be butterflies. I think God as organic life is a whole bunch of caterpillars that someday will be perfect butterflies...

Sunday Sermon 7

Better late than never... This Sunday was about relationships in the church today. Marriage and divorce in particular. Better to stay married than divorce, and a man and woman are meant to marry for life were the basics. I agree that if you want to bear children, a man and a woman should marry for life as that is how long the children produced will need their loving home to remind them of the good life love can make...

If, on the other hand, you are intelligent enough to realize more relationships than breeding couples are possible, then other advice may be necessary. If two men or two women fall in love, they know they will not bear children, but they may want more than a civil union to recognize their love. A marriage may be in order. All serious relationships should be for life. Anything less serious should be regarded as a casual encounter between consenting adults...

Knowledge is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Without knowledge, one can be led by the text of Scripture to all types of folly. Yet with knowledge, a clear path through the entire world library is possible, highlighted by all the facts one finds along the way...

Without the Holy Spirit's gift of knowledge, the Bible is a perilous book. It can snare one for life in stumbled paths. The Bible itself warns in the book of Jeremiah that father and son shall perish! With the gift of knowledge to guide you, one realizes the perfect law of liberty is the judgment day legal code. There may be many bodies of law claiming jurisdiction over you, but the Book of James says to be as they that are going to be judged by the law of liberty...

What is important to remember is that there may be many legal offenses but what is truly offensive? Those acts which lawgivers found offensive enough to outlaw or that truly offensive to a higher authority? Even God is not above natural law. Natural law teaches to allow all harmless acts, or you are in violation of the greater liberty.  Too little liberty is tyranny. Too much liberty is anarchy. Harmless liberty sounds just right!

When you know the truth, you will be free of all the misguidance a world may contain. Until then, pray for the Spirit of Truth to be given to guide you...
